Socks for a good cause

We’ve been selling our own designed and manufactured Curlew Socks since September this year and have so far raised £1098 for Curlew Action.

Writer and conservationist Mary Colwell came to visit us and we made her day with a big cheque followed by a walk up on the moors where curlews come to nest in the spring/summer.

Mary founded the charity Curlew Action to try to prevent the extinction of our most fantastic moorland bird.

Despite what happened last time Ed will be going to the launch of the new Curlew Action strategy in London. Singer songwriter David Gray and the Duke of Norfolk will be there and he hopes to talk one of them into being part of ‘one of his videos’.
