It's soft, substantial and built to take years of wear. The Decade moleskin trousers continue a local tradition of making trousers in this wonder fabric. It's the original workwear cloth of the North of England and we’re proud to have it as a core fabric in our collections.
See, we’ve got real roots in moleskin at HebTroCo. Back in the industrial days it was one of our home town’s signature woven fabrics. It was made here and everyone wore it. The everyday armour of mill hands, engineers, farmers and labourers. It was workwear with class and folk wore it with pride.
In the twentieth century moleskin drifted out of sight. Only country people kept buying it for its bramble resistance and stubborn durability. We remembered it from when we were kids so started making trousers using it. That’s how HebTroCo began.
The Feel & Fit
All our Decade moleskin trousers are cut and sewn right here in England from quality, hardwearing moleskin cloth. Tough enough for real work, smart enough for the pub, comfortable enough for everything in between.
They feature an extended waist band with button closure to keep the front of the trousers flat and smart. Pleats add shape and comfort, complimenting the gentle taper of the leg.
