Decade Navy Cord Trousers

The Decade Cords are the B-Side to their Moleskin brother. Soft against the skin, insulating from the cold weather, durable and long-lasting.
When the cowboys of the American West wore denim, the workers of Northern England wore fustian. Corduroy and moleskin. Both were woven here in our hometown, Hebden Bridge, cut and sewn to clothe miners, ship builders, farmers and weavers. Heavy and hardwearing, insulating warmth against the cold damp air of the high moors and valley bottoms.
Jumbo cords are still king even though we’re mostly playing in them now rather than doing the hard labour of our predecessors. But the cloth was good then and is still the same now. The Brisbane Moss mill in our valley wove some of the best corduroy in those days and today they still commission the same specification of premium velvety cord from their partner mill in Italy.
