Hand forged 304 stainless steel, paired with a 5-7mm thick, 40mm wide natural veg tanned leather strap from J & FJ Bakers of Devon – the most chunky ever.
HebTroCo branded stainless steel keeper.
Natural veg tanned leather is undyed and will darken and mark with wear and aging to produce a fantastic patina over time.
Exclusive to HebTroCo by blacksmith and leather craftsman Alex Maughan. Each buckle is made by hand, tool and fire individually in his forge, before fixing it to the hand cut straps. One at a time production. Nothing off the shelf. Just true raw materials bought in and manufactured in Edinburgh, Scotland.

In the photos: Ed is 5’8″ / 10.5 stone and wears 30 waist, 28 leg.
Our size charts show the flat measurements of each garment.
Since everything we do is made by hand, there can be a slight variation between pieces (up to 2% either way is considered within tolerance). Natural fibres can also shift slightly during production, with a bit of stretch or shrinkage being part of the process.
